This site is specially created to promote Narmada Parikrama ( A circular journey on foot, starting from any specific point at the bank of Narmada and return to the same point like a chaplet) worldwide. At the same time to promote car parikrama and other places of tourist interest, situated by the side of the holy river Narmada. Narmada Parikrama is an adventurous journey passing through hills,dense forest,villages,towns and various obstructive places. The distance to cover is about 4000 K.M. there is no binding of time to complete the journey but it is advised to visit the holy places and temples as much as possible. Originating from Amarkantak, Narmada flows towards down obeying no caution or obstruction and passes through plains, villages, towns, forests, hills and natural elevation. During its journey different streems,canals, tributaries and other sources of water get mingled with it.

In course of journey Narmada becomes stronger increasing its width and breadth. While passing through different towns, villages, hills, forests and other places Narmada showers its powerful blessings at both of its sides with abundance and affluence. Finally, it merges with great Arabian Sea near Bhuruch of Gujrat yielding it’s individual identity. Due to the above causes we call Narmada as our mother. We also worship Narmada and pray blessings from her.
